Warm and uplifting, I loved this festive read, despite the fact that I was reading it in August! Let It Snow is a cosy, festive story with quirky characters, lots going on, and sweet romance。 I like the uniquely crafted characters, the wintery setting and the enemies to lovers romantic trope。 The story unfolds with characters, events and locations that are easy to imagine because of the good sensory imagery。 It's a little too complex and lengthy for a Christmas-themed read, but the characterisation, family drama, and humour make it worthwhile。I received a copy of this book from the publishe Let It Snow is a cosy, festive story with quirky characters, lots going on, and sweet romance。 I like the uniquely crafted characters, the wintery setting and the enemies to lovers romantic trope。 The story unfolds with characters, events and locations that are easy to imagine because of the good sensory imagery。 It's a little too complex and lengthy for a Christmas-themed read, but the characterisation, family drama, and humour make it worthwhile。I received a copy of this book from the publisher。 。。。more

Happy Pub Day!Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC。This book honestly was a little confusing and disorganized。 I originally requested this book because I thought it was going to be a cute christmas romance。 However, I was very wrong。 The first few chapters were a little boring but things picked up after it but then the last 80% was so hard to get through。 I started to just skim the pages from then on。 This book was more of a fiction rather than a romance。 There were so many storylines going on at the Happy Pub Day!Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC。This book honestly was a little confusing and disorganized。 I originally requested this book because I thought it was going to be a cute christmas romance。 However, I was very wrong。 The first few chapters were a little boring but things picked up after it but then the last 80% was so hard to get through。 I started to just skim the pages from then on。 This book was more of a fiction rather than a romance。 There were so many storylines going on at the same time。 Bea, job, her grandmother, her parents, all had some kind of storyline which made it hard for me to focus。 It would have been great if it focused on one thing。 For example, just as the goodreads summary said, it would have been a really good romcom if the book was about Bea and Henry’s trip to Scotland。 I think that bit was also misleading。 The trip to Scotland was only 20% of the book。 Overall, I was not a big fan of the book except the Scotland part。 。。。more

This is my second read from Beth Moran, and while her books seem to be listed more as women’s fiction than romance, I would disagree and say they are just plain good, wholesome (clean), Hallmark type feeling romances with true gentlemen heroes and strong leading ladies who can take care of themselves! … the hallmark comment perhaps because both of her books read now were Christmas? I’m really going to have to read her other novels, and that was a complete coincidence! I loved the first one I read (Christmas Every Day), so jumped on the opportunity for the ARC of Let it Snow!Let it Snow features another really strong female character who doesn’t follow her family expectations and branches out on her own, dating the “bad boy” and not marrying the one they expect her to (in fact, develops a major dislike for him)。 After her bad boy lets her down over and over, they split after 12 years, she’s coming home for Christmas and not only does she bump into him again, but her parents have invited the other guy too (the unlikeable bloje)… but now she has a job interview to disrupt the Christmas plans and Henry is the only one who can drive her there, in the middle of bad weather (oh, and look, there’s her work nemesis, too!)。 We can see where this is going? Except, Moran is such a clever writer, she’ll keep you guessing what’s next!A definite recommendation for everyone, a great feel-good holiday read! My heart is full and happy after reading this book! Let it Snow is much more than a Christmas romance—it is about family, community, being true to yourself, and about love, too, of course。 Bea is a truly endearing character, sort of floundering when we first meet her; she’s broken up with her long-term boyfriend, her working life is a bit wonky, and she’s less than thrilled about spending the holidays with her family (whom she loves—but it’s complicated)。 And when she arrives at her family home My heart is full and happy after reading this book! During the two day interview, a stay in a log cabin, some obstacles and competition to get this job, and a nightmare journey through the snow, Henry and Bea have some time to talk, it turns out Henry isn't anything what Bea thought him to be。 On top of all this, Bea's grandma falls and hits her head and is now unconscious。 I loved Henry and Bea, but I wanted more romantic interactions to happen to them early on in the story, instead of until the last ten percent of the book。 Adam, Bea's ex-boyfriend annoyed me, he focused on his music career more than focusing on his relationship with Bea。 I feel like Bea deserved way more than what Adam had to offer, I couldn't stand how he came back into Bea's life for a second chance way before trying to talk about the past and how he could have helped their relationship。 I absolutely adored Bea's family, they were just the sweetest souls, but a bit hard headed at times, they made me laugh when they had family gatherings。 The only thing I would change about her family was how her parents weren't more understanding about Bea's dream to be the top weather reporter。 The Christmas festivities were just on point, the weather themed outfits, I LOVED IT!!!! To anyone else who reads this book, don't let this review stop you from reading it, you may have better luck than me。 。。。more

The vibe of the power of authenticity also really struck a chord with me。 The whole “time/growing up gave Bea perspective on Henry” was a bit ad nauseum, but the story had enough going on to allow me a quick eye roll at end of every few chapters before becoming engrossed again。 Read if you like:❄️ Christmas vibes👧🏻🧒🏻 Childhood “friends”🔐 Forced proximity/one bed 🛏 🤺🥰 Enemies to lovers 👧🏻 Flashbacks 🔥 Slooooow burnOverall, it’s a solid ☺️ (4/5) for me。 It felt a little dragged out, and at times there was a lot going on, but I appreciated the character development (even if it was a reaaallllly slow burn)。 。。。more

An added bonus, the forced proximity Bea and Henry often found themselves in was delicious。 It was only in these moments that we got to see how compatible the two really were。 It definitely made for some fun scenes and helped develop their relationship。 The one critique I have is that the book felt a tad too long。 The sub-plot of discovering who Nana Joy’s mystery man was could have been omitted。 It didn’t bring a lot to the story。 Special thanks to Boldwood Books NetGalley。com for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback。 。。。more

Will Bea decide to go with the national channel or stay with her hometown tv channel? Will Bea decide to give Adam another chance? Will Bea decide Henry is the man for her? I read this book in 2 days and enjoyed every minute of it。 I was totally invested in the decisions that Bea would make。 If you love a book that gives you all the feels and makes you feel good than this is the book for you! I enjoyed all the stories within the larger plot。 Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC。 。。。more

This is a classic enemies to lovers trope, which is one of my favorite tropes。 This was just a very sweet festive romance book that just put me in a good mood after reading。 The characters were well developed with depth, witty banter, chemistry, and creatively written。 I loved the MCs and felt connected with them。 I did not care for the ex, he was probably written as a selfish self-centered characters to enhance the MC relationship。 The author’s writing style was complex, swoony, light humor, fun, and kept me engaged cover to cover。 The author did a brilliant job of describing Scotland and setting the tone of the book, I felt like I was there riding along。 I love all things Christmas, especially books and Hallmark movies, this book was no exception, I would highly recommend picking up when it is released next week。 。。。more

A light hearted, fun and festive read that will entertain in many ways。 I must admit, that living close to Sherwood Forest myself added to my interest as it I could really place myself in the setting。 I even loved the Mansfield mention too!We meet weather girl (fanatic) Bea Armstrong who is wanting to make her own way in the world and within her career whilst also determining who her heart belongs too – a long time love who consistently let her down or a surprising someone who has been in front A light hearted, fun and festive read that will entertain in many ways。 I must admit, that living close to Sherwood Forest myself added to my interest as it I could really place myself in the setting。 I even loved the Mansfield mention too!We meet weather girl (fanatic) Bea Armstrong who is wanting to make her own way in the world and within her career whilst also determining who her heart belongs too – a long time love who consistently let her down or a surprising someone who has been in front of her all along。 Going home for Christmas is a family holiday nightmare for Bea, it has been planned like a military operation for reasons unknown to Bea, but she risks her mother’s wrath as whilst she wants to be with family an opportunity arises she cannot miss。 Heading off for the interview of a lifetime with an unlikely ally, Bea soon discovers the parts of herself she’d long forgotten and following many incidents, she realises where her passion, and talent, lies。 A wide variety of characters that are funny and quirky in their own way, I enjoyed getting to know more about them all。 Cosy and cute, a perfect read this Christmas time。 。。。more
